Jeremy Malcolm Consultant

LL.B. (Hons) B.Com

Jeremy was admitted to practice law in 1995. He spent five years in a diverse practice at Perth firm Macdonald Rudder before founding his own boutique IT and Internet law practice in 2000. In association with this practice, iLaw was Australia's first legal portal for instructing lawyers over the Internet, with immediate online credit card payment; commonplace now, but revolutionary at the time.

Jeremy ceased his day to day involvement with the firm when commencing his PhD in law in 2005, which he completed in 2008, going on to publish an acclaimed book based on his research. Jeremy remains available to consult to the firm on complex matters of IT and telecommunications law, intellectual property and licensing and the other niche practice areas in which he specialises.
